Questions about Dapto and how it works

Clear answers on what Dapto's agents do, how we build them into the systems you already use, how pricing works, and how your data stays protected.

General

What is Dapto?

Dapto builds custom AI agent systems that run inside your existing business software and do the work across it. Each system is designed around how your business works, uses your CRM, ERP, inbox and internal tools as they are, and shares one Brand Core, your business's second brain. Prebuilt agents already in production mean we rarely start from zero.

What kinds of AI agents does Dapto build?

Every kind of AI agent a business uses day to day: AI receptionists and AI voice agents that answer calls, AI chatbots for websites and WhatsApp, AI customer service agents with a built-in helpdesk, AI SDRs and lead generation agents for sales, AI marketing agents for content and ads, and operations agents for documents, reports and workflows. Anything else gets a custom agent on the same Brand Core.

What is Brand Core?

Brand Core is your business's second brain: one shared source of truth built from your website, documents, libraries, products and pricing, policies and brand voice. Every Dapto agent works from it, so they give consistent answers, sound like you and follow your rules.

How does a Dapto implementation work?

Four steps. An AI Opportunity Audit maps and measures the work. We then design the workflow and build the agents, testing them on your real past cases. Deployment happens in stages, starting in shadow mode. After that we keep optimising and report against your baseline. Nothing goes live without your approval.

What happens in the AI Opportunity Audit?

It is a working session, not a sales pitch. We go through how your work runs today, measure where time and money are lost, identify where an agent could realistically take over, which systems it would need to connect to, and what to build first.

How long until an agent is live?

It depends on the workflow and the systems involved. Because most deployments start from agents we have already built, they move faster than a build from scratch. Our Customer Service Agents can be running the same day if you start them yourself.

How much of my team's time does this take?

Your team gives us context on the workflow and access to the right systems in a few working sessions, then reviews test results and approves each stage of the rollout. We handle the design, build and deployment.

Does it work with the systems we already use?

Yes. Agents connect to your CRM, inbox, phone, website, calendar, ERP, documents, databases and internal tools through their APIs and integrations. You don't have to migrate anything.

How is our data protected?

Agents work inside the permissions you set and only get the access they need. Sensitive steps can require a person's approval, and every action is logged so it can be monitored and audited.

Can I start on my own first?

Yes. Our Customer Service Agents are available self-serve as Dapto Frontdesk, with a 7-day trial. Each agent runs on its own, and you can add more with our team whenever you're ready.

How is pricing set?

Self-serve Customer Service Agents (Dapto Frontdesk) start at $39 a month. Custom implementations are priced on the workflows, systems and number of agents involved, and we share the price after the audit once the scope is clear.

Operations Agents

What do Operations Agents do?

They take on the internal work behind the scenes: reports, decks, dashboards, summaries, data checks, research, proposals and document handling. They pull from your files, data and tools, and produce work your team can review, edit and reuse.

Can Operations Agents run the same work every week or month?

Yes. Work you repeat, such as a weekly report or a monthly client summary, can be saved and run again on new data, on a schedule you choose.

How do I get started with Operations Agents?

Book a call. In the AI Opportunity Audit we map the process, the data it needs and the systems involved, then build the agents around them. Your team approves each stage before anything goes live.

AI Models & No Vendor Lock-In

Which AI models do Dapto agents use?

Leading models from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta and Mistral. Each agent uses the model that fits its task, whether that is writing, research, analysis or high-volume work where cost matters.

Am I locked into one AI provider?

No. Your agents are not tied to a single AI vendor, so the model behind an agent can be changed when a better fit comes along.

Data & Integrations

Which data sources can agents work from?

Document repositories, databases, APIs, SaaS tools and internal systems such as SharePoint, Google Drive, Salesforce and SQL databases, together with everything in your Brand Core.

How do agents keep their answers grounded in approved data?

Agents work only from the sources and permissions you approve, including your Brand Core, so what they produce is based on your trusted data rather than public or unverified information.

Security, Privacy & Controls

Does Dapto train AI models on my data?

No. Your data is never used to train external models. Data access is controlled, logged and isolated according to your policies.

What kind of policies can be enforced?

Policies are set per workflow. You can block sensitive inputs, redact outputs, restrict which models and data sources an agent uses, require a person's approval for sensitive steps, and limit actions by role or team.

Is every agent action logged?

Yes. Every action is logged so it can be monitored and audited, and outputs can be evaluated before they ship.

Pricing & Plans

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Our self-serve Customer Service Agents (Dapto Frontdesk) come with a 7-day trial. Custom agent systems start with an AI Opportunity Audit, and we share the price once the scope is clear.

Do you offer done-for-you setup?

Yes. For Dapto Frontdesk, we can build your agent on your site, connect your calendar and CRM and get it working, for a one-time $399 setup. Every other agent is built and deployed by our team as part of an implementation.
